Game Mechanics

Toshimon is a browser-based online battling game that requires the use of non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum platform to act as immutable in-game assets. Players connect their Ethereum wallets to the Toshimon website using Metamask. Once connected, players will launch the game to challenge opponents in the lobby.

Players start by assembling a team of 5 Toshimon NFT cards to use in battle against their opponent. Before the match, players will want to strategically pick their team of 5 based on type advantages/disadvantages, movesets and stat total.

Fight in the Forest

At the beginning of each turn, each player will select one of four actions: Fight - allows player to select which move to use to attack their opponent Tosh - if player wants to switch out their Toshimon for another in their party Item - player selects an item card such as a Potion to heal their Toshimon Run - forfeits the fight and exits the match

Players may only select one of the above actions per turn.

Once each player has selected an action, the Toshimon with the highest speed stat will attack first. This will continue until one player has defeated the other by draining each Toshimon's HP to 0. The winner is the player with Toshimon remaining.

Wagering

After you become confident in your skills, you can choose to put Ethereum on the line using our peer-to-peer wagering system. This provides a fun and competitive way to showcase your skills, and also supports the secondary NFT market. If you need to assemble a stronger team, you can always purchase the Toshimon cards you need from secondary markets such as OpenSea.
