Setup Your Wallet for Matic (Polygon)
How to setup your wallet for Toshimon contracts on Matic
Setting Up Your MetaMask Wallet for Matic Mainnet
This guide is to assist with a MetaMask wallet, as recommended in our Getting Started guide. MetaMask is a free and secure browser extension that allows users to seamlessly interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
New users can download and configure MetaMask from their website metamask.io/download.html. Again, if you need any assistance with MetaMask, please refer to our Getting Started guide or MetaMask's FAQs.
Connect MetaMask to MATIC Custom RPC/Mapping Mainnet
You’ll need to configure the Matic Network custom RPC to your MetaMask. It’s pretty simple and straightforward, and it’s easy to switch back and forth between the Main Ethereum Network (Layer 1) and the Matic Mainnet (Layer 2) using the button near the top of the MetaMask application.
Open MetaMask by clicking the fox Icon in the top right of your browser
Click on the network selection button on the top of the app
Click on the "Custom RPC" to add the Matic Mainnet information

After clicking "Custom RPC", a screen will appear allowing you to configure the custom RPC for the Matic Network.

Enter in the Matic Mainnet details as follows:
Network Name: Matic Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/
Chain ID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network/
Be sure to double check and confirm the above information before clicking "Save". Once you've added the details click on the "Save" button. You are now connected to the Matic Mainnet.
You may close the dialog box.
Transferring Your Assets from the Ethereum Mainnet to the Matic Mainnet
To transfer your assets from the Ethereum mainchain to the Matic mainnet for use on QuickSwap, please use the POS bridge. With the POS bridge you can quickly move your assets from the Ethereum mainchain to the Matic mainnet.
To do so, visit QucikSwap.exchange and connect your MetaMask Wallet. Click your extensions icon in the upper right corner of your browser window.

Select MetaMask from the dropdown menu.

MetaMask will open. Then, click "Next"

Click "Connect"

Back on QuickSwap, in the upper right corner, select "Switch to Matic"

Your MetaMask Wallet will open. Click "Switch Network".

Success! You are now connected to the Polygon (Matic) Network!
Setting Up Your Polygon Web Wallet
You're now connected and able to use the Matic Network. However, that won't do you a lot of good without a Matic wallet. You can access the Matic Web Wallet here: https://wallet.matic.network
Once you access your wallet, connect it to your MetaMask account (with the Ethereum mainnet selected as the network). The Matic Web Wallet supports MetaMask.
After connecting to your MetaMask account, it will then navigate back to the Matic Wallet interface. If you do not own any MATIC already, creating this wallet will give you 0.1 MATIC for free - enough to make thousands of trades on QuickSwap!
You can easily deposit your funds from Ethereum to Matic using the web wallet. Ensure you have ETH or ERC 20 tokens on the Ethereum mainnet.
Transferring Your Assets from Ethereum to Matic
From here, moving assets from Etherum to Matic is no challenge!
From the Matic Wallet, click "Move funds to Matic Mainnet"

Be sure to select "PoS Bridge" for the transfer mode. Once "PoS Bridge" is selected, click "Transfer".

The following warning will come up. Verify what's supported, then click "Continue".

Click "Continue" again to complete your deposit.

Then, click "Continue" again to confirm your transfer.

Click "Continue" Your MetaMask wallet will then open. Click "Confirm".
You will see the following screen:

Important: The transaction process does take time to complete! You should receive confirmation within 8-10 minutes, depending on network congestion. You can always track your progress on Etherscan.
Once the transaction is complete, you will see the following screen:

Lastly, open MetaMask and select "Matic Mainet" from the drop down menu. Congratulations, you're ready to interact with layer 2!
